For the answer to the question above,I believe it is false because in his writing "<span>Some of my pleasantest hours were during the long rainstorms in the spring or fall, which confined me to the house for the afternoon as well as the forenoon, soothed by their ceaseless roar and pelting".
It denotes happiness and not intimidation.</span>

How we see jack and ralph differing priorities in chapter 3
Afina-wow [57]

Jack and Ralph disagree over leadership styles and the priorities of what must be done on the island.  Ralph feels that building the shelters should be the group's biggest priority; he worries about the littluns who do not sleep well at night and the possibility of more bad weather.   Most of Ralph's frustrations stem from not having enough help from the other older boys on the shelters.  They all agreed in the meeting that it was a good idea, but the actual implementation has been more challenging.

When Ralph asks Jack to help with the shelters, Jack refuses, saying that meat and hunting is more important to the tribe.  After the boys debate that their island might not be a "good island," the boys come to an understanding that they both want different things, but the issue remains unresolved as to which is more important.

Which summary correctly describes the second half of Antigone?
Igoryamba

Answer:

the answer is passage 2 Haemon tries to convince his father to think about his citizens and what they want and to realize his arrogance and folly. However, Creon

dismisses him and decrees that instead of sentencing Antigone to death, he will entomb her. Antigone puts up a brave face before being

entombed. The prophet Teiresias warns Creon of his folly, only to be rebuked. Later, when Creon goes to free Antigone, he finds out that she

has killed herself, and he witnesses Haemon stabbing himself. This news reaches Queen Eurydice, who also stabs herself in a fit of grief.

Creon returns to the palace childless and wifeless, finally realizes his hubris, and repents.
