Pick any 2 data points from the list, say (6,13) and (5,11)
compute m, slope using the slope fornula m= y2-y1/x2-x1 = 13-11/6-5=2/1=2. pick any point and write your equation in slope intercept form
y-11=2(x-5)
y-11=2x-10
y=2x+1. answer B

(-1,-1) and (2,5)
slope = (5+1)/(2+1) = 6/3 = 2

using (-1,-1)
y = mx + b
b = y - mx
b = -1 - (2)(-1)
b = -1 + 2
b = 1

equation slope intercept form (y = mx + b where m = 2 and b = 1)
so
y = 2x + 1
or
f(x) = 2x + 1

answer is B. second choice

If you just need to outline the quilt in lace you will need 24 feet. I got this by adding 5+5+7+7 to find the perimeter (24).
