givi [52]

This original answer contains 186 words.

Answer: Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world. Humans settled there since about 3,000 BCE. Today, Jerusalem is located in Israel. Temple Mount is one of the most important spiritual sites in Jerusalem. It is called Al-Haram al-Sharīf in Arabic. Temple Mount is so large that hundreds of thousands of people can visit the site. The oldest existing Islamic monument, the Dome of the Rock shrine, was built on Temple Mount. The shrine is called Qubbat al-Ṣakhrah in Arabic. This place of Muslim worship is the largest mosque in Jerusalem. In Hebrew, Temple Mount is called Har Ha-Bayit. To Jews, Temple Mount is the site of the First and Second Temples, Jewish places of worship in ancient Israel that were destroyed in conflicts. The holiest site for Christians is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Christians believe that at this site, Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross and buried in a nearby stone tomb. Three days later, they believe, he rose from the dead at this spot. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre contains more than 30 chapels and places of worship.

earnstyle [38]

Answer:

Alexander Hamilton wanted to "assume state debt and establish a national bank". However, his plan would have the government assume state's debt which would benefit where Hamilton sat politically, which was obviously quite controversial. As well as this it was really long, so most people didn't understand it.

Hamilton also argued that centralized debt would ease the flow of capital through the new nation.

How was the great compromise an effective agreement?
Oliga [24]

The Connecticut Compromise (also known as the Great Compromise of 1787 or Sherman Compromise) was an agreement that large and small states reached during the Constitutional Convention of 1787 that in part defined the legislative structure and representation that each state would have under the United States Constitution. It retained the bicameral legislature as proposed by Roger Sherman, along with proportional representation of the states in the lower house, but required the upper house to be weighted equally between the states. Each state would have two representatives in the upper house.
