The correct matches are:

Oil - Nigeria;

Nigeria is one of the biggest producers of oil in Africa and that is because it has large reserves of oil on its territory. Big portion of the economy is based on the oil income, unfortunately though the technology used for extraction and transportation is old and there's lot of loses and spills.

Rich soils - Kenya;

Kenya is  a country that has suitable rain patterns, rich and vast grasslands, and tropical climate. This has resulted in the country having a very fertile soil. That is largely because of the enormous amount of biomass from the grasses, helped by the rainfall and the high temperatures to decompose quickly.

Mineral wealth - South Africa;

South Africa is a country that is well know for two things, gold and diamonds. It is the country that has the biggest reserves of gold, most of which goes on the foreign markets. Also, it has lot of diamonds, most of which end up sold in their original shape in Western Europe, mostly Belgium.

Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

Colonist C is a Patriot.

Explanation:

From what I'm looking at, we see Colonist C is illegally importing tea from the Dutch after the Townshend Acts placed a tax on tea. That is an example of Patriotism. We also see that his goal is to make money and doesn't care if he violates the law. Saying that he might be protesting against Britain by illegally importing Dutch tea, it is likely that Colonist C is a Patriot.

What economic system promises security but not freedom and choice?
djverab [1.8K]
Socialism

Socialism advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. This denies the individual the opportunity to make their own free choices as it limits them politically and economically.

Identify the role of women in american society before, during, and after world war i.
Softa [21]
DURING WORLD WAR I:

War tends to disrupt traditional norms surrounding gender and sexuality, and the First World War between 1914-1918 was no exception. Keep in mind, the U.S. did not become involved in the war until 1917.

During World War I, many women entered the workforce for the first time. With significant numbers of men away in Europe, women were needed in various capacities. It is believed over 20,000 women worked as nurses during the war. Others worked in clerical positions for the U.S. Government. Telephone and radio operators were also common positions for women.

On the home front, women assumed greater responsibility in public life as significant portions of the male population were 'over there' (as Europe was referred to during that time). Women too young or unable to work helped the war effort in various ways, such as planting 'victory' gardens.
