<h2>Answer:</h2>

The surface area of the fish tank is:

                          230 square feet

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

Let  l denote the length of tank

and w denote the width of the tank

and h denote the height of the tank.

from the figure we have:

l=10 feet, w=5 feet and h=6 feet

Now, we need to find the surface area of tank such that the tank does not has a cover this means the top face is not there.

Hence, the surface area is calculated as follows:

Surface\ Area=l\times w+2\times l\times h+2\times w\times h\\\\\\Surface\ Area=10\times 5+2\times 10\times 6+2\times 5\times 6\\\\\\Surface\ Area=50+120+60\\\\\\Surface\ Area=230\ \text{square\ feet}

−8x+4y=24<br> −7x+7y=28<br> What is the solution?
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
−8x + 4y = 24 -- (1)
−7x + 7y = 28 -- (2)

Eqn (1) & (2) are simplified as

y - 2x = 6 -- (3)
y - x = 4 -- (4)

By making y the subject of formula in (4), we have

y = x + 4 -- (5)

Substitute x + 4 for y in (3), then

x + 4 - 2x = 6
x - 2x = 6 - 4
- x = 2
x = - 2.

Substitute - 2 for x in (5), then

y = - 2 + 4
y = 2.

Therefore, (x, y) = (- 2, 2) ...Ans.

nlexa [21]

Answer:

4.06

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Scores     Number of students

 0                     1

 1                      2

 2                     5

 3                     3

 4                     6

 5                     7

 6                     9

To Find: Mean

Solution:

Mean = \frac{\text{Sum of all scores}}{\text{number of students}}

Mean = \frac{0 \times 1+1\times 2+2\times 5+3\times 3+4\times 6+5\times 7+6\times 9}{1+2+5+3+6+7+9}

Mean = \frac{134}{33}

Mean = 4.06

Hence, The Mean of baseball score is 4.06 .
