An easier way to look at this is what 24 can be divided by. Once we figure this out, we can just add a 0 to those numbers.

24 can be divided by 2, 4, 6, and 8, so 240 can be divided by 20, 40, 60, and 80 and get whole number answers.

A student wants to know the approximate distance between London and Beijing. Using a string, she finds that the distance on a gl
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

8182 kilometers

Step-by-step explanation:

A correct proportion to use is 22 over 5,000 = 36 over d

Cross multiply to get 22d = 5,000 x 36. Then, solve d. d = 8181.81.......so the approximate distance rounded to the nearest whole number from London to Beijing is 8182 kilometers.

Hope This Is Right.....

Zach graphs some ordered pairs in the coordinate plane.The x-axis of the ordered pairs represent the number of hours since noon,
Lelechka [254]
There are four quadrants in an x-y plane, Quadrant 1 consists of positive value of x and positive value of y: (+, +); Quadrant 2 consists of (-, +); Quadrant 3: (-,-); Quadrant 4: (+, -). If the x axis represents the number of hours, it should always have a positive value, and the y axis represents the temperature, it may be both positive and negative. So the possible quadrants are only quadrant 1 and 4.

If c | b and a||c, what is ∠2?
kupik [55]
Since a is parallel to c and c is perpendicular to b, than a is also perpendicular to b.

perpendicular lines create right angles, so angle 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .7 & 8 are all right angles.
 A right angle = 90 degrees.

Angle 2 = 90 degrees.
