Moana is surely different from other Disney Princess. There are several reasons why Moana is different from other Disney Movie.

EXPLANATION:

• Differ from the other Disney Princess Movie, the character Moana is actually not a princess. Moana is the daughter of a chieftain. Although the character of Moana is as strong and independent as other Disney Princess, her status is not a princess who comes from a palace with king and queen parents.

• Love is one of the themes in almost all of Disney. Yet, there is no love theme in Moana. Her character doesn’t have an interest in love. The story is about ‘offering’ a character like a ‘princess’ who comes from Polynesian descent. There is no character of “prince” who will be Moana’s partner or husband in that movie just like the other Disney movies.

• Most all of the Disney movies’ plot is about a princess who becomes a heroine for others and in the end the princess will meet a prince who later becomes her husband, Moana doesn’t have this plot-line. It is a story about a girl who becomes a hero for people and a story about a girl who tries to find who she truly is. Thus, there is no love line plot in Disney Moana. Her character is so strong as if he doesn’t need a man just like the other Disney characters.

• The directors of Moana create this character as a strong role model for girls. The story tells about the finding of Moana inner voice and not letting anyone defines her.

You have committed the error known as selective observation.

What is selective observation.?

"Selective observation- paying attention to events that match a prior conclusion and ignore those that do not." This occurs when we see only those patterns that we want to see or when we assume that only the patterns we have experienced directly exist.

Selective observations is when you see things you only want to see. It occurs when we accept certain pieces of information that “fit the pattern” but ignore others because they don’t support our beliefs or opinions.

Hence the correct answer to the statement is selective observation.
