Answer:

The correct answer to the question: Until 2015, each new Roblox user automatically had one friend. What was he called? would be, "Builderman".

Explanation:

Builderman is the avatar that represents the inactive account of Roblox creator David Baszucki and it was initiated in 2006. This character´s only task was to welcome new users into the Roblox system and engage them as a friend and then immediately initiate a program that is called "Followers", which was started around 2015. Initially, when the game was first created, this avatar´s name was "BuilderMan" and his physical appearance was different. After 2007 this changed, and then in 2015 he became known as Builderman. He welcomes the new palyers into the game, encourages them to seek friends, initiates them into "Followers" and then he presents himself as the CEO of Roblox.

If you could change your name what would it be? Why would you change your name to this? Give your name a meaning and explain why
Roman55 [17]
I would change my name it would be Brooklyn. It’s somewhat of a cliché as to why it would be this name but, I’ve always wanted a name I could shorten to something and Brooklyn would allow that. Maybe Brook or Lynn? Aside from that I’ve also loved the idea of visiting or moving to Brooklyn, NY (a Brooklyn living in Brooklyn makes me happy)! The meaning of Brooklyn is water or stream and it’s simply important to me because it would mean I would have a name I can have pride in and that is me.

I hope this helps!!

For this assignment, you'll first write a short compare-and-contrast essay about related themes in Oedipus the King with Pablo P
mojhsa [17]

The assignment wants to know your interpretation of themes in these two works. As acting is a very personal thing, I can't show you how you interpreted the stories, but I can show you how to write this essay.

Test structure

 • Introduction: Introduce the two works, their authors, and their impact on literature and society. The introduction must be a short paragraph.

 • Body: Write two paragraphs. In the first paragraph, you will show how the themes in the two stories are similar and manage to show similar messages to the reader. In the second paragraph, you will show how these themes are different and address different messages. These paragraphs must be long.

 • Conclusion: You will summarize the most important points of the essay and emphasize the efficiency of each work in forming relevant and very significant themes for current and ancient society. This paragraph should also be short.

The theme of a story is the message that the author conveys to the reader through the text.

Among the themes of Picasso's The Tragedy we can see:

 1. Human suffering as punishment.
 2. The human loss.
 3. Emotional weakness.
 4. Disillusionment amid failures.
 5. Corrupted morals.

Among the themes of Sophocles' Oedipus the King, we can see:

 • The consequences of punishment.
 • The suffering is caused by punishment.
 • Fate versus free will.

Below you can see an example of how your introduction might be written.

Sophocles' Oedipus the King and Picasso's The Tragedy are two very important works for literature and art in general because of their themes, expressions, and meanings. These themes speak directly to the reader's emotions and manage to trigger emotions, reflections, and self-knowledge in a very imposing way.

Which of these sentences about the status of women in Jane Austen’s time is true?
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

C. Marriage was the only means for women to gain social mobility.

Explanation:

Jane Austen's time is the 1600s where women had very limited professional development. In such a very patriarchal society, women were inferior and their only chance at improving their status in life was marrying a man of certain stature; although marriages were still arranged then. They had no voice of their own and they were not even allowed to vote.
