How did the Germanic tribes contribute to the decline of the Western Roman Empire? Write your answer in a paragraph of 125 words
maksim [4K]

Answer:

The wars between the empire and the tribes diminish the empire military power until they cannot defend against them and lost their power over the empire’s territory. The Germanic tribes Visigoths, Vandals, Angles, Saxons, Franks, Ostrogoths, and Lombards took turns ravaging the Empire. from 300 until 476 when the western empire finally felt. Nevertheless, they were other major causes of the decline of the empire such as: corruption the rise of the eastern empire, overexpansion. When the Germanic tribes’ migrations and wars added to the list the Empire could not stand longer. In 476, the Germanic leader Odoacer staged a revolt and deposed the Emperor Romulus Augustulus. From then on, no Roman emperor would ever again rule from a post in Italy, leading many to cite 476 as the year the Western Empire suffered its deathblow.
