0.35 is an example of the many, many numbers (decimal) that are between 0.3 and 0.4.

The point I'm trying to make here is that you can even have 0.30000000000000001 and it'd still be correct, because it's still technically between 0.3 and 0.4.

WHAT WOULD THIS BEEEEEEE!!
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

c) 30

Step-by-step explanation:

since the lines are parallel, 75° = 2x + 15°

this is because when two parallels lines are intersected by the same line, all respective angles are equal. Also, opposite angles on a line are equal too.

So now that u have 75 = 2x + 15, just solve for x by simplifying:

75 = 2x + 15

60 = 2x

30 = x

so the answer is c) 30

hope this helps!

Carl earned grades of 62, 78, 59, and 89 on four math tests.
QveST [7]

Answer:

Mean, m = 72

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that, Carl earned grades of 62, 78, 59, and 89 on four math tests.

It is required to find the mean of his grades.

Mean of a data is given by :

m=\dfrac{\text{sum of observations}}{\text{total no of observations}}

Sum of observations is 62 + 78 + 59 + 89 = 288

Total no of observations are 4

So, mean of his grades is :

m=\dfrac{288}{4}\\\\m=72

So, the mean of his grades is 72.

Which sum contradicts this statement? The sum of two irrational numbers is always irrational. A) 7 + 5 7 B) 4 + 2 9 C) -2 6 + 8
lakkis [162]
The correct answer would be Choice D.

I assume you mean to have square root signs in the empty spaces between the numbers.

For choice D, you are adding -4 square roots of 6 and 4 square roots of 6. The answer to that is zero. Which is not an irrational number.

Please help!!!<br> Its an emergency
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer: A

Step-by-step explanation:

The line 'd' separates the square into two triangles. Since the side lengths are equal, the angle is 45°. We need the line separating the two 90° angles, that I am going to define as 'z'. We can use the sine function.

\sin(45)=\frac{z}{5\sqrt{2} }

z = 5

To solve for x, we can use sine again but for the 30 degree angle.

\sin(30)=\frac{5}{x} \\x=10
