Answer:  The United Nations works for world peace and social development, the organization began operating in 1945 with 51 countries. The idea of the formation of the united nations emerged during the Second World War. Austria, Italy, Finland and Japan went from being observation missions to member states of the United Nations. Initially the official languages of the organization were French and French, then Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and Russian were added. Through the United Nations ended colonialism, mainly European.
