Malawi is located in Africa, bordered by the countries Mozambique<span>, </span>Zambia<span>, and </span>Tanzania. Most Malawian's are farmers, so carbohydrates are the key. Malawians eat rice, cassava, potatoes, and maize-based nsima. <span>The Malawi people are of </span>Bantu origin. <span>The </span>Chichewa<span> people form the largest part of the population group and are largely in the </span>central<span> and southern parts of Malawi. In Malawi, maize is grown as the staple food for home consumption. Tea is the country's second largest export.
