Answer:

a. $2,700,000

Explanation:

Using traditional costing the overhead are applied as,

Total overhead costs = 3000,000+1500,000 = $4,500,000

Total labor hours (base) = 10,000+ 15,000 = 25,000 hours

Per hour rate = 4,500,000 / 25,000 = 180/ hour

Total applied to Supreme = 180 * 15,000 = $2,700,000

All the overheads are applies evenly using total hours as base, avoiding the activity basis.

Hope that helps.

Cost is most plainly visible when spending more money on one thing means that less money can be spent on another thing. True or
SSSSS [86.1K]

The given statement about cost is a true statement as cost becomes most obvious when more money must be spent on one thing, leaving less available for another.

What is the cost?

A cost is often the value of the money that was expended during the production or delivery of something or service and is now unavailable for use.

Manufacturing, research, retail, and accountancy all make use of this idea. In business transactions, the cost may be an acquisition cost, in which case the amount of money spent to acquire it is considered to be part of the cost.

Finally, cost becomes most apparent when more money spent on one thing leaves less money for another. This corresponds to a true statement.

As a result, opportunity cost describes a decision we must make in order to make another one.

You have $50, for instance, which you may spend on a date with your partner or on your preferred game. The inability to purchase the game is your opportunity cost if you decide to utilize that money to take your partner out on a date.

If the margin of safety is 0, then a.the margin of safety cannot be less than or equal to 0; it must be positive. b.the company
sdas [7]

Answer:

d.the company is precisely breaking even.

Explanation:

Margin of safety is referred to current sales - Break even sales ratio to current sales as a percentage.

Basically it is quoted as follows:

\frac{Current\ sales\ -\ Break-even\ Sales}{Current\ Sales} \times 100

Therefore, when the current sales = Break even sales then only the company will have margin of safety = 0

Thus, at 0 margin of safety the company basically is at no profit no loss situation, that is break even.

A+b-c =170 B+c-A= 130
solve
balu736 [363]

The correct answer is A = 110, B= 40, C=20..

Explanation

If A+B-C= 170 and B+C-A=130 ,

=C+A = 130

or, C= 130- A

Again, A+B-C =170

or, A+B =170+C

A+B = 170+130-A ( c=130-A)

A+B = 300-A

2A+B = 300

A+B= 300/2

A+B = 150

A+B-C= 170

A+B = 170+C

150 = 170 +C ( A+B = 150)

or, C = 20..............................(1.)

A+C =130

or,A+ 20= 130 ( A=110).....................(2)

A+B = 150

110+B= 150

B = 150-110

B= 40..........................................(3)

Therefore, A = 110, B= 40, C=20..

A shoe factory has an elasticity of supply of .5 as the price if shoes raises from $50 to $75. if the factory produced 100,000 s
lidiya [134]
E S ( elasticity of supply ) = .5 ( supply is inelastic: E S < 1 )
The formula is:
E S = Δ Q / Δ P * P / Q,
where: Δ Q is the change in quantity, Δ P is change in price, P is initial price and Q is initial quantity.
.5 = Δ Q / 25 * 50 / 100,000
Δ Q = .5 * 25 * 100,000 / 5
Δ Q = 25,000
Quantity at the new price: Q ( new ) = 100,000 + 25,000 = 125,000
