I think it's A, Diffraction.

Reflection is basically throwing back light without absorbing it, so that's false.

Refraction is like diffraction, but it's when light passes through something like water with or without touching the edge that it bends (I don't know how to explain it xD)

And I think transcription is something to do with DNA or genes, so that's automatically false.

If someone can confirm this, that'd be great! I hope this helps! :)

Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

a pigment is the natural colouring matter of animal or plant tissue.

a photon is a particle representing a quantum of light or other electromagnetic radiation. A photon carries energy proportional to the radiation frequency but has zero rest mass.

julsineya [31]

The phloem sap of vascular plants that moves through the phloem; transports nutrients through fungi by hyphae, as a result of turgor pressure. Hyphae are elongated tube-shaped structures that are like garden hoses. They also have inflexible cell walls that may be strengthened by punctured cross-walls which are called septa.
