It is cheeper to buy 127g of cookies for 7.03$. If you divide the cookie price by the G(cookies) you can see what price is higher.

Remark
This is an important question for anyone that shops especially now when inflation is on the rise. The stores in general price things so that big is better, but it isn't always so.

General Formula
You want your units to be in dollars / gram

Cost in dollars / gram = dollars divided by grams.

A
5.67 / 98 = 0.05786

B
7.03 / 127 = 0.0553 dollars per gram.

In this case bigger is better. You pay less for each gram you buy. That's how you know. Less is good.

a student played a computer game 500 times and won 370 of these game. he then won the next "x" games and lost none. he has now w
a_sh-v [17]

So, this is a proportion problem. If we express 75% as a fraction (3/4ths), we have:

\frac{370+x}{500+x}=\frac{3}{4}

Since he won all of his games, we add the number won (x), to the number previously won and divide it by the total games played which is just the previous games played plus the number of current games played, so since he lost no games we still add x to the denominator as well. Solving this gives us:

4(370+x)=3(500+x) \implies\\ 1480+4x=1500+3x \implies \\ x=20

That x value is 20.

Fill in the missing information. Tim Worker is doing his budget. He discovers that the average miscellaneous expense is $45.00 w
nlexa [21]

Answer:

P(38.6

And we can assume a normal distribution and then we can solve the problem with the z score formula given by:

z=\frac{X -\mu}{\sigma}

And replacing we got:

z=\frac{38.6- 45}{16}= -0.4

z=\frac{57.8- 45}{16}= 0.8

We can find the probability of interest using the normal standard table and with the following difference:

P(-0.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X the random variable who represent the expense and we assume the following parameters:

\mu = 45, \sigma 16

And for this case we want to find the percent of his expense between 38.6 and 57.8 so we want this probability:

P(38.6

And we can assume a normal distribution and then we can solve the problem with the z score formula given by:

z=\frac{X -\mu}{\sigma}

And replacing we got:

z=\frac{38.6- 45}{16}= -0.4

z=\frac{57.8- 45}{16}= 0.8

We can find the probability of interest using the normal standard table and with the following difference:

P(-0.4

What is the range of the function y=3/x+8?
myrzilka [38]

The domain of the function is (-∞, -8) and (-8, ∞). Then the range of the function will be (-∞, 0) and (0, ∞).

<h3>What are domain and range?</h3>

The domain means all the possible values of the x and the range means all the possible values of the y.

The function is given below.

y = 3/(x + 8)

Then the domain of the function is (-∞, -8) and (-8, ∞). Then the range of the function will be (-∞, 0) and (0, ∞).

More about the domain and range link is given below.
