1. Keep patient document closed and out of reach of those who are not authorized to look at the file.

2. Speak to the patient about their history is a closed/private setting.

3. Do not converse about any patient or their conditions outside of the patient setting or to those who do not have direct need of knowing what is going on with the patient.
