How does federalism limit the power of government in the United States?
vichka [17]

Federalism limits the power of government in the United States through the creation of two sovereign powers: the national government and state governments. In this way, it regulates the influence these have. Separation of powers establishes internal limits; it divides government against itself, giving separate functions to different branches and compelling them to share power, so neither of them becomes predominant.

By separating powers, these are split among the executive (president, vice president, Cabinet), legislative (Congress, House of Representatives and Senate), and judicial branches (Supreme Court and other courts), which are definite departments of American national government.

What CONTRIBUTION FROM THE PAST about SCIENCE has impacted our life today?
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

Explanation:

Scientific knowledge can improve the quality of life at many different levels—from the routine workings of our everyday lives to global issues. Science informs public policy and personal decisions on energy, conservation, agriculture, health, transportation, communication, defense, economics, leisure, and exploration. Science helped us through stuff that got the impact that we have today without science we would actually be useless and it would have been way harder to live.

How are South Korea and Japan different? I need 3. Please make them simple for a middle schooler
Law Incorporation [45]

Both countries have a collective society, but Japan has an external collective culture, while South Korea has an internal collective culture. It means Japanese collectivism is more society-centered, while Korean collectivism is more family-centered. In Japan, following social standards and social order is very important. Hope you find it helpful.
