Railroad technology

Think of two types of transportation systems developed in cities during the Industrial Age: elevated trains and subways. Both are forms of railroad technology applied to city landscapes. By elevating railways above the streets or placing them in tunnels beneath the streets, city planners were able to increase commuter travel options and access.

City planners adopted railroad technology in the Industrial Age to help out commuters. Since a lot of factories were not located close to homes, people took the train to get to work as their way of transportation.

pashok25 [27]

Answer:

American is made up of being a democracy, what makes our country so great is that the people have a voice. Voting gives the people the voice instead of higher powers choosing who runs our country, the people who make up our country get to choose and vote for who they think would continue to make our country great.  (Not a Trump reference)
