It also has carbohydrates, proteins, enzymes, lipids and electrolytes, components that allow it to develop various functions at the metabolic level. The way in which these organic and inorganic structures are arranged and thanks to their properties, allows for a permanent transformation process, and for the phenomena of living beings to take place such as: reproduction, growth and ability to react with the environment.

Lipids are mainly characterized by being insoluble in water, they can serve as an energy reservoir and participate in multiple functions of the body, such as digestion, bone formation and hormone synthesis, among other functions.
