The Social Security Act and the Work Progress Administration were similar in this sense in that they both increased employment rates for young people in the US.

Both the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and the Social Security Act were measures taken in the context of the New Deal policies.

The WPA employed millions of Americans creating jobs temporarily, and its influence extended to almost all localities, essentially in the mountainous and rural regions of the west of the country. The majority of its beneficiaries were unemployed young people who could not access private jobs.

Because it was aimed at a mass of unemployed people who sometimes lacked of any previous work experience (for example, housewives and recent graduates), the WPA functioned, in parallel, as a center for teaching job skills.

The Social Security Act established a social protection system at the federal level: retirement for over 65s, unemployment insurance and various aids for the disabled, but the diseases and invalidity were left unfilled. The blind and handicapped children received grants financed by federal grants awarded in the states. Progressively, the system covered a wider part of the population, particularly thanks to the 1939 and 1950 amendments, but at first, it was restricted to the limits initially imposed by Roosevelt.

The Act encouraged the retirement of older workers, allowing them to leave jobs free for young workers and reducing youth unemployment.

In conclusion, both encouraged the inclusion of young people in the American labor market during the crisis.

The United States belongs to which of the following international associations
lidiya [134]

You didn't provide a list of choices, so I'll simply list some of the major international associations in which the United States is a participating member:

 • The United Nations (UN)
 • The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NTO)
 • The World Trade Organization (WTO)
 • The International Monetary Fund (IMF)
 • The Group of Seven (G7) -- which used to be the G8 until Russia was suspended because of its invasion of Crimea. The G7 consists of the nations with the largest advanced economies in the world (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States).
 • The World Health Organization (WHO)
 • The International Olympic Committee (IOC)

There are lots of others, but those are some of the major international organizations or groups to which the US belongs.

What is love really. plz no dumb answers. and plz try and explain.
Rasek [7]
I believe love is the connection between to people where their souls come together to form one. Where you merely think of someone and are melted instantly. Love is powerful, passionate, and yes at times very insane. To truly love one you must be willing to give up yourself for them, put there needs first ; but most of all feel as if you can't live without them and know 100% that the feeling is mutual. To some love is but a fairy tale but to those who take the time to wait and allow it to find them it is the most marvelous thing in the world. To look at a ring and feel your lovers warmth as if enclosed in their arms is to know that you are truly loved and that you truly love them.

Why did the idea of republican motherhood lead to increased education for some women?
zzz [600]

Answer: The correct answer is A; Women were tasked with educating the next generation, and thus needed to be educated themselves.

Explanation:

The phrase or term Republican Motherhood was started in the 1980s. This idea was based on books written by John Locke. He has several ideas that were based on revolutionary ideas of republicanism.

Christians loved this idea because mothers would be able to pass down the family's religious views and values to generations.

Women were then opened many doors to education that they did not have before. This was so that they could educate their children about things that they learned. They also had more of a public role in women's rights, abolitionism, and had more chances of being teachers, etc.
