Volcano is a mountain like structure that is disclosed downwards to pool of molten rock beneath the surface of the earth and whenever pressure builds up the eruption occurs.

Explanation:

The Earth is made up of many layers such as Crust, Mantle, Outer core and Inner core.

The Crust is made up of 95% igneous and metamorphic rocks, 4% shale, 0.75% sandstone and 0.25% limestone.

The Mantle makes up about 85% of Earth's weight. It is made of Silicate Rocks

The Outer core is very hot, made up of hot liquid Nickel and Iron.

it created magnetic field and makes a blockade around the earth.

The Inner core is made of solid Nickel and Iron ,it has a temperature between 4,982 deg and 7.204 deg C

Tectonic Plates are around 62 miles thick, they float very slowly on top of liquid mantle.

There are several gases inside the earth as well as of hot melted myths.This melted hot material is called magma.

The magma comes out of the earth during a volcanic eruption

The red liquid that comes out is called blob. what is inside the earth is called its magma. when it comes out it is called lava.

Lava on the surface stops flowing and hardens the rocks.

Types of volcano

Active volcano - in this eruption can be anytime and often

eg: Mount Vesuvius, Italy and Sakurajima, Japan

Dormant Volcano - it is an active volcano that is not erupting, but supposed to erupt again

eg: Mauna Kea, Hawaii and Mount Fuji, Japan

Extinct volcano - it means it hasn't erupted for a very long time , so will probably won't ever erupt again.

eg: Deccan Traps, India and Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Volcanoes are classified based on shape:

Shield volcanoes - these are like a shield or a bowl in the middle with a long gentle slopes made by lava flows in this type the magma is too runny so the gas moves away easily and magma simply comes out of the mountain and flows down the sides

eg: Mount Etna and Hawaii

Composite volcanoes - these are steep- sided volcanoes and composed of many layers of volcanic rocks that are usually made from the thick sticky lava, rock debris and ash

Magma is thick and gluey so gas cannot escape and it builds up and up until it explodes sending out huge clouds of burning rock and gas.

eg: Mount cotopaxi, Ecuador and Mount Fuji, Japan

Cinder cone volcano - these are ovular or circular cones made from erupting lava that breaks into small pieces when it shoots into the air.

these small pieces fall back to the land, they cool and creates cinders around the vent.

eg: Paricutin, Mexico and the Mauna Kea,HawaiI

Volcano lava Dome

these are built by viscous magma, being flared up effusively onto shallow and then stacking up around the vent.

eg: Katla, Iceland and Lassen peak, United States

Water(H2O) is composed of the same elements as carbon monoxide (CO). How do their properties compare?
adoni [48]
The correct answer of the given question above would be option B. Water is composed of the same elements as carbon monoxide, but their properties compare because they have different properties due to the different arrangement of atoms. Hope this answer helps.

The pressure inside a compressed gas cylinder is 144 atm at 48°C. What will the pressure inside the cylinder be after it is cool
Andrews [41]

Answer:

134 atm

Explanation:

  • Based on the pressure law, the pressure of a gas varies directly proportionally to the absolute temperature at a constant volume.
  • Therefore; we are going to use the equation;

\frac{P1}{T1}=\frac{P2}{T2}

In this case;

Initial pressure, P1 = 144 atm

Initial temperature, T1 (48°C) = 321 K

Final temperature, T2 (25°C) = 298 K

We need to find the final pressure,

Therefore;

P2 = (P1/T1)T2

    = (144/321)× 298 K

    = 133.68 atm

   = 134 atm

Therefore, the new pressure will be 134 atm.

A 250 mL beaker is submerged in a large container of Liquid X and turned upside down, and another 250 mL beaker is submerged and
vovangra [49]

Answer:

Mx will be less than My.

Explanation:

The correct option is - Mx will be less than My.

Because, liquid X have been higher viscosity and vapor pressure than liquid B.

Vapor pressure of liquid A is greater, so the amount of liquid X will vaporized greater and H2 gas has been displaced greater from the beaker as compared to liquid Y.

The amount of H2 in liquid Y remains greater in beaker as compared to liquid X.

So, Mx will be less than My.

Please help there is a picture below.
Mila [183]

Answer:

A is its answer

Explanation:

Fan uses electrical energy and makes it to mechanical energy by rotating

Same is with the drill

Trampoline does not use electrical energy

Lamp uses electrical energy but it converts it into light energy and heat energy

So A is the answer
