Steve = S , Tom = T
1) S+T = 7777
2) S= 1414 + 2T

put 2) in 1)

1414+2T + T = 7777
1414 +3T = 7777
3T = 6363
so T = 2121
then Steve sold 1414+2(2121) = 1414+4242=5656 tickets
while Tom sold 2121 tickets

1. Ada purchased a house using a fixed rate mortgage. The annual interest rate is 6.3%
vlabodo [156]

The monthly  payment on the mortgage is option C) $2537.44

<u>Step-by-step explanation</u>:

  • Principal (P): $ 295,000
  • Rate (r): 6.3%  = 0.063
  • Number of times compounded (n): 12months\times15 years = 180
  • Number of years = 15

The formula is A = P(1 + r/n)^nt

⇒ A = 295000(1+0.063/180)^(180\times15)

⇒ A = 295000(180.063/180)^2700

⇒ A = 295000 (1.00035)^2700

⇒ A = 758854.5

Interest = Amount - Principle

⇒ 758854.5 - 295000

⇒ Interest = 463854.5

∴ The monthly payment for 15 years = 463854.5 / (15\times12)

The monthly  payment on the mortgage = 2576.9 (approximately option C)

Can you solve this problem please
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

k = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the points are collinear then the slopes between consecutive points are equal.

Using the slope formula

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (5, 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (1, - 1)

m = \frac{-1-1}{1-5} = \frac{-2}{-4} = \frac{1}{2}

Repeat with another 2 points and equate to \frac{1}{2}

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (1, - 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (k, 4)

m = \frac{4+1}{k-1} , then

\frac{5}{k-1} = \frac{1}{2} ( cross- multiply )

k - 1 = 10 ( add 1 to both sides )

k = 11

Can anyone help me in this whole math question? Especially Number b and c. <br>Thanks.
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

Irregular polygons are polygons that do not have equal sides or equal angles. When finding the area of an irregular polygon, partition the polygon into smaller regular polygon shapes. You can then plug those measurements into their respective area formulas and multiply to find the area of one part of the shape.

This is 16cm.

What’s is the vertex y=x^2-2x+26
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

(1, 25)

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert to vertex form so that the equation is (x - 1)^2 + 25

If 1 is <em>h </em>and 25 is <em>k</em>, (<em>h, k</em>), the result would be (1, 25)
