Answer:

The United States found out about Russian nuclear missiles being sent to Cuba in 1962 by using spy-planes.

Explanation:

The discovery of these missiles by the Americans unleashed the Cuban Missile Crisis, a 13-day confrontation between the USSR and Cuba against the United States in October 1962.

It was one of the biggest confrontations in the Cold War. This is usually considered to be the moment when the Cold War was closest to becoming a nuclear conflict. It began on October 14, when the United States discovered and photographied Soviet nuclear missiles, capable of reaching the US territory, stationed in Cuba. The crisis ended on October 28, when USSR leader Nikita Khrushchev ordered the removal of all nuclear missiles against President John Kennedy's promise not to attack Cuba.

How did shelters of American Indian tribes in the northeast differ from those in the Great Plains?
Olenka [21]

I think the answer is A.

The reason I say this is because Northern American Indians had access to more trees (depending on where in the North) and they would commonly use baby saplings to not only make tools but their frames for animal hide houses (not exactly Tipis these were shaped like boxes). In the Great Plains there wasn't exactly that much wood but there was however mud, and this led to some of the natives using mud to make Sod houses.

Hope this helps and have a nice day.

Which group initially opposed the inclusion of the Bill of Rights in the US Constitution?
astra-53 [7]

Federalists were the first political party of the United States and debated the inclusion of the Bill of Rights. There were two sides to the debate: the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists. The Federalists sought to ratify the Constitution while the Anti-Federalists did not. The Federalists felt that the inclusion of the Bill of Rights was not necessary and the Anti- Federalists claimed the Constitution gave the central government too much power, and without a Bill of Rights the people would be at risk of oppression. Yet remarkably, it was The Federalist, James Madison who eventually presented the Bill of Rights to the Congress despite his former opposition.

Which of the following describe basic beliefs or practices of Judaism?
Kruka [31]

Answer:

The correct answers are A, D, E and F. Basic beliefs or practices of Judaism include:

-practicing monotheism.

-obeying the Ten Commandments.

-reading and understanding the Torah.

-valuing good behavior more than performing ceremonies.

Explanation:

Judaism is one of the three major Abrahamic religions, defined as the religion, philosophy, and way of life of the Jewish people. Originally from the written Torah and the Hebrew Bible and explored in later texts, such as the Talmud, it is regarded by religious Jews as the expression of the relationship and covenant developed between God and the People of Israel. According to traditional rabbinic Judaism, God revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of a written and oral Torah.

Judaism differs greatly from many contemporary religions in that authority is not seen in one person or group, but in sacred texts, traditions and educated rabbis who interpret the texts and laws. Throughout the ages Judaism has adhered to a number of religious principles, the most important of which is the concept of one almighty and omniscient God who created and continues to rule the universe. According to traditional Jewish belief, the God who created the world confirmed a covenant with the Israelites through Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of the written and oral Torah. They believe that all the Jews of the world are descendants of the Israelites. Practically traditional Judaism is based on the study and preservation of God's rules and commandments as written in the Torah and explained in the Talmud.
