Answer:

d. socially defined expectations for a person in a given social position

Explanation:

Social roles, are notions that people have , when interacting.

They vary according to position, status, expectations: Think of social roles as characters with a more or less script like in a teather, were there will be some roles like a hero, some villians, some others to be secondary, and other roles that accompany evey single social action or interaction.

Therefore when social roles are present, we assume that certain things are true , even when the contrary could be in reality.

We assume a teacher to know, we assume a student to need or be willing to ask, then when the roles are in wider context they sometimes fail to comply with expectations.

<em>There is always a notion of an assumed status or role to be filled: it is believed that roles give order and direction to human behavior.</em>

<em>Making predicatbility human interactions is important to everyday life, so it is difficult to imagine how life could be without these</em>

<em>Since roles make relationships and present to make sense of and understanding of each other's actions. </em>

What is the goal of all economic decisions in a market economy?
kykrilka [37]

Market economy is understood as the organization and allocation of the production and consumption of goods and services arising from the interplay between supply and demand. The characteristic that defines the importance of the market economy is that decisions about investment and the allocation of production goods are made mainly through markets.

In a market economy, producers and consumers can interact in the market. It is assumed that both types of economic agents assume the price of the goods as a given data (that is, they are "price acceptors" - "preneurs de prix" in French, "price takers" in English.- See Origin and assumptions in "Law of Walras".) And, from there, they make their production and consumption decisions, seeking to maximize the gain in the case of the bidders and the utility function (satisfaction) in the case of consumers. The participation of these actors, offering and demanding quantities of goods and services, in turn alters market conditions affecting the evolution of prices.
