Raul and Tyree have open cans of soda. The can A is left sitting on the table while the other cans B and C are each heated on a

hot plate. Can B is heated to a much higher temperature than can C. The students then monitored the cans for expansion. What would be a reasonable hypothesis for this experiment?

A reasonable hypothesis would be that, nothing changes with can A (no expansion at all), and Can C is expanding, but Can B is expanding even faster than Can C. (I don't know, if this hypothesis is correct though)

Explanation:

When more heat or temperature is provided to an object then its molecules will start to vibrate more rapidly.

As a result, the forces of attraction between the molecules will decrease and molecules will move away from each other. This will result in expansion of object.

Thus, when can B is heated at much higher temperature than can C then, can B will expand largely.

Thus, we can conclude that high temperature has caused more expansion.

During the power stroke energy released by combustion generates the force that:_______.
Inessa05 [86]

Explanation:

An IC engines means an Internal Combustion engine. Here, the combustion takes place in side a chamber or a cylinder internally, hence it is known as internal combustion engine.

Combustion is the process where oxygen reacts with the fuel and it burns to produce a large amount of force and heat. In each revolution of the crank, the engine creates a power stroke when the piston goes from the bottom dead center to the top dead center.

During each power stroke, the energy released forces the piston down and the crankshaft is rotated.

What changes into energy in the sun?
Greeley [361]

Answer:

The sun generates energy from a process called nuclear fusion. During nuclear fusion, the high pressure and temperature in the sun's core cause nuclei to separate from their electrons. Hydrogen nuclei fuse to form one helium atom. During the fusion process, radiant energy is released. :D
