Dramatic literature refers to what is otherwise known as theater, both tragedies and comedies. These are written in order to be represented on a stage and the writer may include in his or her text stage directions that show how and where the actor stage should move, stand, exist or enter, amongst other possible directions. Fiction refers, on the other hand, mainly to novels and short stories, amongst other possible genres.
