Japan is a country that is currently under a "Constitutional Monarchy". This is a form of Monarchy (under the rule of 1) that has a leader who is limited to mostly ceremonial type duties.
Like us though, Japan also has 3 branches of government, with the Prime Minister leading the executive branch, whereas, with us, the President leads the executive branch.
