if this is an opinion or an essay answer I would write,

" i believe starting my own company is a risk because you do not know how it is going to end, you could lose money and time in the process.  Something that would motivate me to try this would be the chance to make a succesful company  and make money off something that i am passionate about.

I would take this risk to make my own company because it could make me a millionaire and my company can be famous. However, it can make me poor and homeless. Furthermore, I can have a low social life.

Hope this helps! :)

How does Lincoln use rhetoric to advance his purpose in his Second Inaugural Address?
kirill115 [55]

The correct answer is A. Lincoln uses pathos to appeal to the audience and encourage support for the soldiers and those they left behind.

Pathos is a communication technique used most often in rhetoric, considered to be one of the three modes of persuasion along with ethos and logos. Pathos appeals to the emotions of the audience, eliciting feelings that already reside in them.

In that particular speech, Lincoln addresses the issues of the Civil War and slavery in particular.
