Since you already have them figured out:

69.06
because the last digit is 5 or greater you can round up to 69.1
the reason we are doing this is because usually they only want one decimal MINIMUM for the mean.

Answer:

C. 69.1, 69, 69

Step-by-step explanation:

So to solve this problem you just have to remember what is each one of the options, the mean is just the average of the scores of all the club members, this means that you sum all the scores and divide them by the number of the members:

A=\frac{1036}{15}=69.06

Since we have to round it up to the nearest decimal the answer would be 69.1

Now the next thing to do is to find the median, the median is the value that is exactly in the middle of the values:

72, 71, 70, 70, 70, 69, 69, 69, 69, 69, 68, 68, 68, 67, 67.

So we eliminate the values from both ends of the spectrum:

<u>72, 71, 70, 70, 70, 69, 69</u>, 69,<u> 69, 69, 68, 68, 68, 67, 67.</u>

So the median would be 69.

Now you just have to find the mode, the mode is the value that is the most repetead on the values, as we can see the most repetead would be 69.

Solve the proportional equation 2/3 = x/15
dimulka [17.4K]
  2            x
 -----  =  ------
  3           15

cross multiply
(3)(x) = (15)(2)
3x = 30
x = 30/3
x = 10

so 2/3 = 10/15.......notice how these are equivalent fractions....that is because proportions are nothing but equivalent fractions

2^-3 x 3^-2<br> 2 to the power of negative 3 times by 3 to the power of negative 2
Ivan
<h3>The value of 2 to the power of negative 3 times by 3 to the power of negative 2 is 0.013889</h3>

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

<em><u>Given that:</u></em>

2^{-3} \times 3^{-2}

We have to find the value of expression

We know that,

a^{-n} = \frac{1}{a^n}

Therefore,

2^{-3} \times 3^{-2} = \frac{1}{2^3} \times \frac{1}{3^2}

We know that,

a^2 = a \times a

Similarly,

2^{-3} \times 3^{-2} = \frac{1}{2 \times 2 \times 2} \times \frac{1}{3 \times 3}\\\\Simplify\\\\2^{-3} \times 3^{-2} = \frac{1}{8} \times \frac{1}{9}\\\\2^{-3} \times 3^{-2} = \frac{1}{72}\\\\Simplify\\\\2^{-3} \times 3^{-2} = 0.013889

Thus value of 2 to the power of negative 3 times by 3 to the power of negative 2 is 0.013889
