The battle of Saratoga caused many things to happen. For one, it had caused European nations to think that the Americans might win their war for independences. And after hearing of the American victory at Saratoga, King Louis XVI of France recognized U>S independence. In, 1778, France signed two treaties of alliances with the Untied States. By doing so, France went to war with Britain. The answer that seems most likely would be C.
