The correct answer is A.fundamental human rights were violated.

Basic human rights to freedom and liberty were being violated since families were not allowed to have more than a single child so if for example a woman was to become pregnant again, she would be forced to abort the child in secrecy so as to prevent being arrested or fined by the state. They also sometimes hid children and never told anyone that they had them in order to protect themselves.

Why did British leaders impose the stamp act on colonists and what response did it elicit ?
Bumek [7]
Best Answer

The tax imposed by the crown was actually lower than than taxes paid in England. The problem was we were not consulted or given a voice on the issue. The King tried to pass it off so that later on other taxes imposed on the colonies could be done without consent because we didn't argue about having a tax lowered.

Pure and simple it was a way to impose control without consent.

The governor of Arkansas justified his refusal to allow integration of Central High School in Little Rock by claiming that
Marina86 [1]

He claimed he was acting to protect the public.

The Little Rock School was the center of a highly popular crisis in Little Rock - Arkansas. There was a group called Little Rock Nine that consisted of nine African Americans students who wanted to enter the school which was racially segregated.

After the US Supreme Court decision of calling that all laws that segregated schools were unconstitutional, the high school decided to make a plan to integrate African American students. Many segregationist councils threatened to block the entering of the black students. Governor of Arkansas Orval Faubus decided then to deploy the Arkansas National Guard, and he justified his action by saying that if he didn’t call the national guard people would get hurt.
