Select the correct answer.
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

He is saying that there are 2 roads leading away from a critical point in everyone's life.

He is glad that he has chosen the one that is less travelled which means he has gotten what he could from the life he lived.

Jesus says much the same thing in Matthew 7:13 and 14. One way leads to destruction, the other is the righteous path.

I think Frost had this in mind when he said that the less travelled path has made all the difference to him, because he is not lead by other people.

I think given what I have written, I believe that C is the correct answer. I don't think the metaphor means anything to do with nature. It has to do with moral behavior.

Explain why Elizabeth 1st faced problems in 1559 (12marks)
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

Some feared a female ruler meant that England would continue to be seen as a weak country. France and Spain were the most powerful nations, and both were ruled by kings. There were worries about who Elizabeth might marry; a foreign prince could end up taking control. Elizabeth became more anti-Catholic as her reign went on. 162 Catholics were executed between 1577 and 1603. Some extreme Protestants were unhappy with any form of compromise. Elizabeth wanted her people to worship on her terms so that she was ultimately in control.

Explanation:

I'm not very sure about any context, but this is the info that I have gathered. <3

Select the correctly punctuated sentence in this group. a) Ms. Espinoza has offered to coach the team this year, however, the co
erik [133]

Answer:

The correct answer is:

c) Ms. Espinoza has offered to coach the team this year; however, the competition for the job is intense.

Explanation:

The word 'however' is used in different ways in a sentence, and I will explain each of the different ways it is used and the punctuation rules to obey.

1. Using 'however' as an adverb for conjunction.

This is exactly how it is used in our example in this question. "However" can be used to join two sentences, to form a compound sentence that has a relationship of that of a contrast, and when is is used thus, it is preceded by a semi-colon (;) and followed by a comma(,). like it is used in option 'c' in this example; Ms. Espinoza has offered to coach the team this year; however, the competition for the job is intense. Another example is; He studied hard to pass the test; however, he did not make it.

2. 'However' can be used to start a sentence, and when it does, it is followed by a comma, and a complete sentence. For example; However, I would like you to come back tomorrow.

3. 'However' can be used to interrupt a sentence, when used this way, it is preceded by a comma, and followed by another comma. For example; She is, however, not telling the truth

4. Finally, 'however' can be used to imply 'by whatever means', 'in whatever manner' or 'to whatever extent'. When used in any of these manners, it is not preceded or followed by a punctuation. For example; I will prepare it however you want me to. However you wish to do it, go ahead
