"The Pedestrian", by Ray Bradbury, is a work of science fiction set in 2053, which narrates the story of Leonard Mead, a writer who likes to take lonely walks at night, just for amusement. He really finds pleasure in walking alone, and, in a future society which is completely dominated by technology, this is completely strange.
