Answer:

The outcome of the 1991 US attack in Iraq (the Gulf War) was that Iraq finally left Kuwait, defeated by the coalition, and got several economic sanctions imposed by the United Nations.

Explanation:

The Gulf War was a conflict waged by a coalition force authorized by the United Nations, composed of 34 countries and led by the United States, against the Republic of Iraq in response to the Iraqi invasion and annexation of the State of Kuwait.

The beginning of the war started with the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait on August 2, 1990. Iraq was immediately economically sanctioned by the United Nations. The hostilities began in January 1991, resulting in the victory of the coalition forces. The Iraqi troops left Kuwait leaving a very high number of human victims. The main battles were air and ground combats inside Iraq, Kuwait, and on the border between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Answer:

To remember the arrival of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem for the festivities of the Jewish Passover.

Explanation:

As the Gospels narrate, Jesus decides to go to Jerusalem with his disciples for the Jewish Passover. He knew what was going to happen. He would be apprehended by the pharisees and taken to the Romans to be punished. Lord Jesus knew his passion and death were approaching. He arrived in Jerusalem on a donkey, a scene that had been envisioned by prophet Isaiah and is found in the Old Testament.
