The inequality simplifies to
  15.3 + 11.22x > -14.25 -10.2x -24
  21.42x > -53.55 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . add 10.2x-15.3
  x > -2.5 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . divide by 21.42

The solution set is best represented by
  (-2.5, ∞)

Answer:

The set which represent the solution is (-2.5;+∞).

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's first expands each one of the parenthesis  in the inequality:

5.1(3 + 2.2x) > -14.25 - 6(1.7x + 4)

5.1*3 + 5.1*2.2x > -14.25 - 6*1.7x -6*4

15.3 + 11.22x > -14.25 - 10.2x - 24

Now we must to organize the equition, for dong this we will group the terms which contains the variable x to left member of the inequality and the rest of the term to the right member:

11.22x +10.2x > -14.25  - 24 - 15.3

21.42x >  - 53.55

Solving x:

x >  - 53.55/21.42

x >  - 2.5

That mean that the solution set is  (-2.5;+∞)

Pepsi [2]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a) (5,5) ;    (10,6);  slope = 1/5

  (x1,y2);    (x2,y2)

y-y1 = m (x-x1)

y-5=\frac{1}{5}*(x-5)\\\\y-5=\frac{1}{5}*x-\frac{1}{5}*5\\\\y-5=\frac{1}{5}x-1\\y=\frac{1}{5}x-1+5\\\\y=\frac{1}{5}x+4

d) (√2,7)    ; (√2,-7)

  (x1,y1)    ; (x2,y2)

slope=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}\\\\=\frac{-7-7}{\sqrt{2}-\sqrt{2}}\\\\=\frac{-14}{0}=0

Equation: y =7 or y = -7

Practice using the work formula. A bathtub that holds 42 gallons of water is filling at a rate of 4 gallons per minute. How long
trapecia [35]

Answer: The percentage of the tub after 6 minutes is 30 %

Step-by-step explanation: The  calculation can be done as follows

1 minutes= 4 gallons

6 minutes= 4×6

= 24 minutes

If the bathtub can hold 80 gallons of water then the percentage of the tub after 6 minutes can be calculated as follows

= 24/80

= 0.3 × 100

= 30 %

Hence the percentage of the tub will be filled after 6 minutes is 30 %

Samantha is going on vacation for the summer and is trying to choose between two different plans. The first plan costs $450 for
ziro4ka [17]
Pretend the cost of the hotel is called "x" and the amusement park is "y"
make the equations.
450=3x+2y  and  700=5x+3y
since you're solving for amusement park, you basically just solve for y
multiply the first equation by 5 and the second equation by 3.
2250=15x+10y  and  2100=15x+9y
these are a system of equations so subtract one from the other to cancel the x values away.
150=y   so the answer is that a day trip to the amusement park costs $150

*****PLEASE HELP*****
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The triangle is an isosceles triangle (2 sides same).

The sides BC and AC are radius of the circles, so these 2 sides are congruent. So, the opposite angles are equal as well. Since one angle is given as 20, the other angle is also 20.

So, we have the three angles of the triangle as:

20, x, and 20

We know, sum of 3 angles of a triangle is 180, thus we can write:

20 + x + 20 = 180

Now, we solve for x:

20 + x + 20 = 180

40 + x = 180

x = 180 - 40

x = 140

Correct answer is D
