BC = 19.1-10.4 = 8.7

19) AB = BC = 8.7

20) CG = 30.6 -8.7 =21.9

21) AG = 8.7 +30.6 = 39.3

22) FG = DG (DG = 30.6-10.4-8.7) = 11.5

23) EH = 8.7 + 11.5 +8.7 = 28.9

24) EJ = 8.7 + 11.5 + 21.3 = 41.5

Find the sum of 5x-y and (2xy+xy)
devlian [24]
Since neither 5x nor -y has a "like term" in <span>2xy+xy, the sum of these quantities is simply

</span><span>2xy+xy + 5x - y = 3xy + 5x - y

You might want to write this as  y(3x -1) + 5x. </span>

what is the equation of the line described below written in slope intercept form? the line passing through point (0,0) and parel
Diano4ka-milaya [45]
Solve <span>3x+2y-6=0 for y

2y-6=-3x

2y=-3x+6

y=-1.5x+3

So the slope of the reference line is -1.5.  For two lines to be parallel they must have the same slope so our line will also have a slope of -1.5 so we have:

y=-1.5x+b, now we can solve for b given the point (0,0)

0=-1.5(0)+b

0=0+b

b=0 so our line is:

y=-1.5x</span>

How do you solve cos((π/6)x)=0
zlopas [31]
\bf cos\left( \frac{\pi }{6}x \right)=0\implies cos^{-1}\left[ cos\left( \frac{\pi }{6}x \right) \right]=cos^{-1}(0)&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\cfrac{\pi x}{6}=cos^{-1}(0)\implies \cfrac{\pi x}{6}=&#10;\begin{cases}&#10;\frac{\pi }{2}\\\\&#10;\frac{3\pi }{2}&#10;\end{cases}\\\\&#10;-------------------------------

\bf \cfrac{\pi x}{6}=\cfrac{\pi }{2}\implies \pi x=\cfrac{6\pi }{2}\implies x=\cfrac{6\pi }{2\pi }&#10;\implies \measuredangle x=\stackrel{radians}{3}\\\\&#10;-------------------------------\\\\&#10;\cfrac{\pi x}{6}=\cfrac{3\pi }{2}\implies\pi x=\cfrac{18\pi }{2}\implies x=\cfrac{18\pi }{2\pi }\implies \measuredangle x=\stackrel{radians}{9}

In △QRS, QR ‖ TU. Given that TQ=6, ST=10, and UR=15, find SU.
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

SU=25

Step-by-step explanation:

We can set up a ratio as STU and SQR are similar because of the SAS similarity theorem.

TQ:SQ

SQ=ST+TQ=10+6=16

6:16=3:8

Therefore the ratio of STU:SQR is 3:8

We can use this to find SU

UR:SR=3:8

15:SR=3:8

Cross multiply

3SR=120

SR=40

SU=SR-UR

SU=40-15

SU=25
