This is actually a science question, this is because the air particles with the warmer temperature always go up and air particles with the cooler temperature always goes down, and this process is called convection.
I hope this could help you ;)

A thermometer measures temperature to the nearest 0.5°C which measurement shows an appropriate level of precision for the thermo
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

To the nearest 0.5°C means basically 1 digit after the decimal point.

0.5 has 1 digit (5), after the decimal point. To the nearest 0.5 means that the answer should have 1 digit after the decimal point.

For example, if we were to round 14, to the nearest 0.5, we would need to write it as  14.0 (with 1 digit after decimal).

Now, looking at the answer choices, we eliminate A because it has 2 digits after decimal. We eliminate B and C because there is NO DIGIT after decimal. And we accept D, because it has 1 digit after decimal. Hence, this is correct to the nearest 0.5°C.

Answer is D
