<span>It could be said that the speaker in sonnet 18 by Petrarch conveys negative ideas in order to exalt the beauty of love. as he compares love with summer , he tends to say that the latest is not as good as love because it ends quickly. So he concludes that everything that is beautiful disappears. </span>
