First you can add 2 on both sides to eliminate the 2 and you end up with 3x=6,so you divide each side by 3,and get x=2

You have to get the X by its self
then then you would have to add the 2 which would cancel out out on the left
you would then have to add the 2 to the 4 which would give you 6
RULE-(what you do on one side you do to the other)
so then your equation would be 3X=6
then you would divide by 3 on both sided which would cancle out the 3 and on the other side of the equal sign you divide by 3 which would leave you with 2
so then your answer would be-
x=2

A bag of m&m's has 4 red, 7 green, 8 blue, and 6 yellow m&m's. what is the probability of randomly pickinga blue or gree
bogdanovich [222]

Step-by-step explanation:

a probability is always desired cases over total possible cases.

the bag has 4 + 7 + 8 + 6 = 25.

so, when we pick a random M&M we have total 25 possible outcomes.

the desired cases are to pick a green or a blue M&M.

that means these are 7+8 = 15 cases.

the probability to pick one or of the desired cases is

15/25 = 3/5 = 0.6

2x − 4y = 40,
−x + 2y = −20

Find x and y intercept
Basile [38]

Answer:

The x and y intercept are (20,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-4y=40—eqn1

-x+2y=-20—eqn2

Make x the subject of eqn2

-x=-20-2y

x=20+2y

plug this into eqn 1

2(20+2y)+4y=40

40+4y+4y=40

8y=40-40

y=0

plug y=0 into eqn2

-x+2(0)=-20

-x=-20

x=20

A sphere has center (0,0,0) and a radius of 5. Which of the following points lie on the sphere?
Colt1911 [192]
Since the sphere is located at the center and has radius 5.
Out of the following given points,
(5,5,-5) will lie on the sphere, where x and y coordinates will be positive and z coordinate will be negative.
This is because the radius of the circle is 5 units.
