Since all the angles are congruent, the sides must be congruent too.

So, just have one equation on one side equal to another.

5x= 3x+6

Subtract 3x from both sides.

2x=6

Divide 2 into both sides.

x=3.

We can check this by seeing if all the sides are the same.

5(3)= 15

6(3)-5= 15

3(3)+6= 15

I hope this helps!

Help how do I do this!!!!
e-lub [12.9K]
In order to find each one, we need to divide 23.96/4 to find what each pound costs. After dividing, you get 5.99. Each pound costs 5.99. So for the first one just multiply 2x5.99 and get 11.98. And the second one shows 17.97 so we can just divide 17.97 by 5.99 and get 3. Just work off of that and you’ll get the rest! But the answer would turn out to be C because you add 5.99 to 23.96 and you get 29.95! Hope this helped

Alexandra and Austin applied to the same university. They looked up the average SAT score of students admitted to that universit
Deffense [45]

Answer:

x= (y+40)-(y-330)

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the information provided, the difference in their scores would be the result of subtracting Austin's SAT score from Alexandra's SAT score.

Then, as Alexandra's SAT score was 40 points above the average score this means that you have to add 40 to the average score to get her result. Also, as Austin's SAT score was 330 points below the average score, this means that you have to subtract 330 from the average score. With this you can write the expression:

x= difference in their scores

y= average score

x= (y+40)-(y-330)

Help! In parallelogram LMNO below, find the length of MO
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

5y - 8 = 3y + 1              Add 8 to both sides

5y = 3y + 1 + 8             Subtract 3y from both sides

5y - 3y = 9                   Combine

2y = 9                          Divide by 2

2y/2 =9/2

y = 4. 5

5y - 8 =

5(4.5) - 8 =

22.5 - 8 =

14.5

That represents 1/2 of MO

MO = 2 * 14.5

MO = 29

What is the common ratio for the geometric sequence?
Helen [10]
Note this pattern:  Mult. 24 by (-1/4) produces -6.
                              Mult -6 by (-1/4) produces 6/4 = 3/2
                             Mult. 3/2 by (-1/4) produces 3/8

Looks as though you copied the problem down incorrectly.  You wrote 32 for 3/2 and -38 for -3/8.

The common ratio is -1/4.
