BaF is the one among the following options given in the question that is not a salt that can be produced from an acid-base neutralization reaction. The correct option among all the options that are given in the question is the third option It is important to note that salt and water is produced during acid-base neutralization reaction. I hope the answer comes to your help.

A acid -base neutralization is a reaction that produces water and a salt. The acid should be strong as well as the base. Cacl2 comes from Ca(OH)2 and HCl- Ca(OH)2 is a strong base, hence CalCl2 is a salt from this rxn. NH3 is not a salt. BaF comes from strong Ba(OH)2 and weak HF, hence not a salt from this rxn. Na2SO4 comes from strong NaOH and strong H2SO4. The answer is BaF.

Which law relates temperature, pressure, volume, and the number of moles of a gas under perfect conditions?
Elanso [62]

Ideal gas law

Explanation:

The ideal gas law relates the temperature, pressure, volume and the number of moles of a gas under perfect conditions.

The ideal gas law is a combination of:

    Boyle's law- "the volume of a fixed mass of gas varies inversely as the pressure changes if the temperature is constant"

   Charles's law - "the volume of a fixed mass of a gas varies directly as its absolute temperature if the pressure is constant"

    Avogadro's law - "equal volumes of all gases at the same temperature and pressure contains equal number of molecules".

The law gives:

                     PV = nRT

where:

   P is the pressure of the gas

   V is the volume of gas

    n is the number of moles

     T is the temperature

     R is the gas constant

What is the pH of a solution with a concentration of 4.2 × 10–5 M H3O+? 2.31 4.38 5.62 6.87
Eva8 [605]

Answer;

pH = 4.38

Explanation;

Consider that ;

[H3O+] = 10-pH mol/L

Therefore; the pH is the -log of the [hydronium ion].

pH = - log [H3O+]

Thus;

pH = - log (4.2 × 10^–5)

     = 4.38
