He doesn't have enough wood for the roof explanation: If you subtract 0.8 from 1.75 that 0.95 if you then subtract 0.4 from 0.95 you get 0.55 so you can't subtract the last one 'cause if you do you'll get -0.05.

HELP PLEASE
Hoochie [10]
If you had values instead of algebraic expressions, you would find the area of the patio and subtract that from the area of the yard. Even though you don't have values, you can still find the area and subtract by expanding and simplifying:
(8x + 2)(6x + 3)
8x × 6x = 48x²
8x × 3 = 24x
2 × 6x = 12x
2 × 3 = 6
So you get 48x² + 36x + 6 as your area of the yard

(x + 5)(3x + 1)
x × 3x = 3x²
x × 1 = x
5 × 3x = 15x
5 × 1 = 5
So the area of the patio is 3x² + 16x + 5

(48x² + 36x + 6) - (3x² + 16x + 5)
48x² - 3x² = 45x²
36x - 16x = 20x
6 - 5 = 1

So your answer is D. 45x² + 20x + 1. I hope this helps!

Answer: x = 27

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3x+45=180º because all of the angles of a triangle add up to 180

5x=180-45

5x=135

x=135/5

x=27

5x + 3 = 6x – 1<br> Solve for the solution
Genrish500 [490]

Answer: x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

Subtract 6x from both sides.

5x+3−6x=6x−1−6x

−x+3=−1

Step 2: Subtract 3 from both sides.

−x+3−3=−1−3

−x=−4

Step 3: Divide both sides by -1.

−x/−1 = −4/−1

x=4

What does dimensions of the entire figure mean
Sveta_85 [38]
I'm assuming the dimensions are like the measures of whatever the figure is. Volume, length,width,height,circumference,radius,diameter,area,perimeter,etc. whatever you are working with, that will help you find the dimensions of the figure:)
