Feudalism is a practice that has been used around the globe at different times, but was made famous for its use in Europe during the Middle Ages. Feudalism set up a system of control whereby nobles had control over fiefdoms or territories that were run by vassals, whereby they provided some degree of safety or protection for the vassals in return for payment through crops or some form of money.

Where is Bruno and his family moving to?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

So it doesn't say what book/ passage you are reading from, and there are SO many Brunos in so many different books. But I'm pretty sure you are talking about The boy in the striped pajamas, and if you are they move to  Poland :)

But if that's not what you are reading I'm 80% sure the answer you're looking for is Auschwitz

why did populists want the united states to move from from a currency backed by gold to one backed by both gold and silver
frosja888 [35]

A bimetallic standard allows the value of paper currency to be linked to the value of metals. In this case, the value of gold and silver. Populists felt that, unlike, the Gold standard which was favored by Grover Cleveland and William McKinley, the bimetallic standard would increase the supply of money, stabilize prices and facilitate exchange rates.
