This is probably caused by ill-fitting shoes putting pressure on certain areas of the foot and would be called a Corn.
In this context, corn refers to some sort of calluses that appear if we constantly use ill-fitting shoes. The pressure that caused by the ill-fitting shoes will create some sort friction that will make the skin on that area become thicken.

Why does the enzyme trypsin get deactivated when introduced in the gastric juice of the stomach?
svetoff [14.1K]
In my Biology Honors Class, they taught about gastric juice, or also known as (p H) which is formed by stomach glands, is very acidic and can seriously mess up enzyme trypsin functions. After all, enzymes are a type of catalyst that help break down food, which means that enzymes are a sort of digestive acid as well. Hope this helps!

A population of animals feeds entirely on plants. Some of these animals are good at digesting Plant A, while others are good at
galben [10]

There’s less scarcity of food for the population is an advantage of a single population of animals having a large amount of variability surrounding certain traits

Explanation:

The population of animal is eating three different types of plants. One of them is good in digesting plant A, one of them is good in digesting plant B and other group is good in digesting plant C.

Thus, the population although has a huge number, but each of the individual is divided into one of the 3 groups which is different in feeding habits. Thus there’s no scarcity of food in the population. Thus the population can live well and reproduce without any nutritional strain.

A student designed an experiment to determine if air temperature had an 10 points
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

Change of temperature

Explanation:

The independent variable is what you change and the dependent variable is what changes because of what you change.

If you have 2 cookies you will have only 1-2 people if you have 200 cookies you would have more people. The independent would be how many cookies you have and the dependent variable would be how many people come.
