In addition to Germany (the other response posted), the answer could also be:

Korea

Details:

 • Germany was divided into East Germany (communist, overseen by the Soviet Union) and West Germany, overseen by Britain, France and the United States.
 • Korea was divided in two at the end of World War II, with the Soviet Union occupying the north, and the United States occupying the south. Prior to World War II, Japan had been in control of the Korean peninsula.

Why was Romulus Augustulus not a competent ruler?
koban [17]

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Augustulus was a teenager when he became a ruler in AD 475. He only lasted 10 months because he was 'disposed of' in AD 476. When Augustulus took power the empire was already pretty much ruined by previous rulers. His subjects did not respect him because he was way to young to take over an entire population of people. At the end of the day his father oversaw his politics advising him along the way.

Here is more information on Romulus Augustulus. Good luck.
