Answer: The use of initiatives.

Explanation:

It is a process that enables citizens to get into their state legislature  by presenting proposed statutes and constitutional amendments on the ballot.

There are two types of initiatives: direct and indirect.

In the direct ones, the proposals that are better qualified go directly to the ballot. In the indirect ones, the proposals are sent to the legislature, and it can approve the proposal and then it is unnecessary for the measure to go on to the ballot for voters to consider.

Where did friars live
natulia [17]

Answer:

Friars are different from monks in that they are called to live the evangelical counsels (vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience) in service to society, rather than through cloistered asceticism and devotion. Whereas monks live in a self-sufficient community, friars work among laypeople and are supported by donations or other charitable support.[2] Monks or nuns make their vows and commit to a particular community in a particular place. Friars commit to a community spread across a wider geographical area known as a province, and so they will typically move around, spending time in different houses of the community within their province.

aivan3 [116]

Answer:

Today the Texas economy is large, diverse and dynamic, boasting a gross state product (GSP) valued at almost $925 billion in 2005. If the Lone Star State were an independent country, it would have the tenth largest national economy in the world--just behind Spain and Canada, and ahead of Brazil, the Republic of Korea, and India--according to data from the World Bank.
