Look at the map. You'll see a little stretch in between, with parts that will go to Colombia, or to Mexico for North America- but Mexico is a different country itself (from the United States and Canada), so go up from Mexico. But this is all still North America.
Therefore that is how North and South America touch.
Unfortunately not. The New Deal was FDR's plan to get the USA out of the Depression. Hitler's plan was the New Order.
