Answer:

Yes

Explanation

Technology and the internet bring people close together and their number is enlarging day by day.69 percent of adults used one social media site up to 21 percent in 2008 as indicated by data collected by Pew Research Center. Another collected data shows that 57 percent of friends are made online by teenagers. Individuals also use the internet to stay in touch.

Technology and internet has brought young people together but even this has its pros and cons.

Where on one side, technology has played a vital role in bringing people across borders together. Unlike before, people are just a click away. They can see the moments of their lives, talk to them through videos, and what not.

On the other hand, young people are so engrossed in the things that technology and internet has to offer, that they have forgotten how to live their life in real time. They value screen time over face to face conversations, which also is termed as time.

Explanation:

People from all over the world are online, who are sharing many content and using the same websites.

Th technology gives both individuals and businesses more opportunities in today's world.

The Researchers have also found that parents use the internet to support their efforts to raise their kids better.

It brings people together virtually and also pushing them away physically. The Internet has the best ability to connect any user with any other user, according to any quality which ever is possible

Technology can affect our life both positively and negatively. New technology always changes our life a lot and takes it to a new level. It is an innovative way of thinking or doing the normal things differently.

hope this helps

Answer:

Rukeyser makes some politcal statements of "devices" people use and how wars in distant lands lead to indifference , now if we were to bring upon her the topic of 21st century technology and brief her about the social dilemma our generation is in and all the reliances the world has on technology andits features i believe she would be shocked and yet at the same time amazed in the effects technology has on today's generation. Let me start by recognizing and appreciating the great solutions technology has brought the 21st century , there are many advantages to technology as they can be seen everywhere all around the world we live in today. But a big problem internet and technology bring upon most people in today's generation is that it they increase the distance and familiarity people have with eachother and the outside world. Sure we have to admit that the internet is a major help to also connecting people from long distances and bringing many people closer together , but i believe the social distance technology and internet cause is more effective than the social distancing the corona virus caused. The internet and technology is not just a big wide social community it also a big wide unsocial community who plugs them selfs into the virtual world and unplug themselves from the real world , no evidence needed for that claim just take a better and closer look to the people around you and how they live their lives.Ultimately i believe the internet and technology is causing people to believe they should be more active and invlolved with everyone and everything by having and undertsanding the latest technology but while doing that it is also getting everyone more worried about internet and technology and less worried about the world around them and the people around them.

In 3-5 sentences, write about the author's repetitive use of the "s" sound and its significance in the excerpt.
almond37 [142]

Answer:

The author made use of consonance in the poem.

Explanation:

In the poem, "Out Where The West Begins," by Arthur Chapman, the poet applied consonance, a form of alliteration. Consonance is the repetition of consonants anywhere in a set of consecutive words. The consonant, 's', was repeated several times by the poet. This repetition is significant because it creates a form of rhythm that makes the poem enjoyable and helps the reader remember it.

“Out where the handclasp's a little stronger,

Out where the smile dwells a little longer,

That’s where the West begins;

Out where the sun is a little brighter.”

satela [25.4K]

The poet shows that even after adopting Christianity, blacks are seen as unworthy.

How does this show that the racist stereotype is false?

 • This shows that black people will suffer racism even if they obey the wishes of white people.
 • This shows that religious difference is used as an excuse for racism.

The poet asserted that blacks suffered racism because they served a religion considered pagan by white Christians. However, even if blacks convert to Christianity, they are seen as unworthy, dirty, and devilish.
