What is a climatologist?
A climatologist is someone who studies the climate of a certain area. It may be a city, county, region, state/province, or a continent. Climatologists predict the climate for the next period of time.
The source of energy that drives air pressure patterns is the sun, because it's heating a second grader at the equator then at the poles, it creates a circulation in the atmosphere. Hot moist air rises over the equator and Flows at the high-level towards the poles, where it cools and sinks. The equator is there for a region of low pressure, and the poles are regions of high-pressure. If something is being "taken off your shoulders" your experience less pressure, whereas if someone's trying to stand on your shoulders, you'll feel more pressure.
The active sections located
along the fault lines are called seismic gaps, letter D. Seismic gaps are segment
of an active plate that has not recently deformed and is likely to cause
earthquake in the future.
Seafloor spreading occurs at divergent plate boundaries. As tectonic plates slowly move away from each other, heat from the mantle's convection currents makes the crust more plastic and less dense. The less-dense material rises, often forming a mountain or elevated area of the seafloor. Eventually, the crust cracks.
