|First of all, Steve and his family left for Vegas. So I had no one to play video games with.|
|Secondly, they weren't showing any good movies on TV--just reruns of the old boring ones.|
|Worst of all, I couldn't go out because no one was home and Dad was expecting and important delivery.|
|In the end, the only excitement I had all day was watching Smokey chase the light from Dad's laser pointer.|
